HOW YOU CAN HELP
FROM OUR U.S. AGENT
Latest News from Marshall Hayden, U.S. Agent for Zimbabwe Christian College:
In mid-August president Mavodza traveled to Mashoko mission for the annual national conference; and he was able to interact with many of the ministry couples from all over the country, starting with a pre-conference for ministers and their wives. This year it included a couple who are serving in Mozambique.
The new school year is underway at the college; and next month we will have some information about the students in each class, new students, and the most recent progress at the college.
This month’s gift reminds me to say how grateful Zimbabwe Christian College is for the steady, long-term support of so many of our partner churches. This makes possible for the administrators and faculty of the school to concentrate on the churches, students, and the continually tense national situation as they serve and grow in a difficult environment.
Around the United States many churches in our fellowship are growing; and many are continuing to make a difference, holding steady and faithful. But there are several that face difficult financial decisions; and they are having to include missions, international ministries, and domestic ministries in the cut-backs. When the college continues to warrant your support, which may not always be easy, please know that it is deeply appreciated.
At the start of a new school year it is a real boost to have the money that some of you have sent for student scholarships. This will allow some particularly needful students to continue their work. All of us are most grateful for that.
In behalf of Zimbabwe Christian College,
